What is Conexo?
Conexo is a daily word classification puzzle. Sixteen words hide four groups of four, and the challenge is working out what connects them before you sort. Words often fit more than one theme, so the overlap is intentional. A fresh board arrives each day, and the calendar on the front page keeps earlier puzzles available.
How to play Conexo
- Open the day's board from the front page. The date sits above the Play button, and the calendar beside it holds previous games.
- Read all sixteen words before touching any of them. The groups are built so several words fit more than one theme.
- Pick the four you are surest about first. Starting from the group you can name is faster than starting from words that look odd.
- Submit your selection. Feedback arrives one group at a time, and the board is complete once all four sets are sorted.
Why play Conexo?
Grouping games depend heavily on their decoys, and Conexo builds them from words that genuinely fit two sets. You have to identify the category the author intended, since the words may also look related in another way. Once the right label appears, the board can fall into place in one move. A calendar of previous games lets you keep playing after the daily board.

Previous games: A calendar of earlier boards is available from the front page without an account.
Tips & strategy
Name the category before choosing the words. Conexo uses words that fit two themes, so a group you can explain out loud is safer than four words that merely seem related.
The most obvious four words are often the decoy. When a set stands out immediately, check whether one of its words also belongs to a group you have not found yet.
