What is Duotrigordle?

Duotrigordle displays thirty-two five-letter grids at once and gives you 37 guesses to solve them all. Each word you type applies to every board simultaneously, so one entry can reveal nothing on one grid while locking in answers on three others. The game accepts only real English words and ends when all 32 words are found or the guesses run out.

How to play Duotrigordle

  1. Type a five-letter word and press Enter.
  2. Check the colors across all thirty-two boards: green marks a correctly placed letter, yellow shows a letter that belongs elsewhere in that word, gray means the letter is absent.
  3. Decide which grid to prioritize for your next guess, remembering that each entry counts against all boards.
  4. Continue until all 32 words are solved or you exhaust the guess counter.

Reading the feedback

Duotrigordle uses the standard green/yellow/gray code but adds two features for managing the mass of boards. Ghost letters appear as watermarks in the input area, showing the green letters already locked in for each column. Inconsistency warnings turn your entry yellow when it contradicts known information, such as typing a different letter under an already-confirmed green. Words solved by Solve Assist appear in purple rather than green.

Why play Duotrigordle?

It pushes escalation to deliberate absurdity: thirty-two grids, five spare guesses, and resource management closer to a logic puzzle than a vocabulary game. The built-in tools—watermarks, inconsistency alerts, automatic solving of obvious grids—make it clear where the grind is and where the challenge lies.

Tips for managing thirty-two boards

Input hints are enabled by default and flag impossible entries before you spend the guess. Turn them off in settings if you prefer to play without safety nets.

Solve Assist inspects each board and automatically completes those that admit only one logical solution, saving guesses on grids already decided. It works by deduction, not dictionary lookup.

Sequence mode hides all but one board at a time. The two extra guesses do not compensate for the loss of information, so approach it with well-practiced openings.
