FoxiMax turns Hangman’s penalty around. A hidden word appears as empty boxes, and you choose letters from the on-screen keyboard. A correct guess fills every matching position. A wrong guess adds another word to the board.
The game ends when all the words are complete or you make eight mistakes. Your score is the number of words on the board, so fewer words means a better result.
In traditional Hangman, a mistake moves you closer to losing. In FoxiMax, it also lengthens the list of words you must solve. Each risky guess has a double cost: it uses one of your eight allowed errors and expands the board. The key is to solve efficiently.
Reading the feedback
Feedback is immediate and visual. Correct letters fill their boxes across all the words. Wrong letters add a new row of empty boxes at the bottom of the board. The penalty accumulates with each mistake, leaving you with more work to do.
Modes
Daily
The puzzle of the day, selected by default in the top-left dropdown. This mode tracks your daily streak.
Training
A random set of words for practice. The rules panel describes this as a free mode. A Share button lets you send the puzzle to others.
Tips for a lower score
Each error counts twice: it uses one of your eight allowed mistakes and it increases the word count that determines your final score. Favor high-frequency letters early to fill in the most boxes before taking risks.
Training mode is the only mode that can be shared. If you want to challenge a friend with a specific puzzle, use Training rather than Daily.
