What is Hexaboo?
Hexaboo is a word game where letters sit in hexagons and the board continuously refills itself. You spell words by tapping adjacent tiles, and between words you can drag one tile onto a neighbor to swap them. Each turn spawns a new letter, so cleared space gets quietly refilled. The daily run ends when letters run out, and the endless run ends when the board fills up.
How to play Hexaboo
Choose a mode on the front page: Daily Hexaboo, Daily Mini-Boo, or Endless Hexaboo. Tap adjacent letters to spell a word with at least four letters, then submit it with the Submit button or spacebar. Tap Clear to remove your selection.
If the board has no playable word, drag one tile onto an adjacent tile to swap them. Use Pass to skip your turn without swapping, or tap Hint when you are stuck.
The available-words counter
The header shows your score, turn number, per-turn rate, and letters remaining. The line under the buttons displays how many words the current board can make. When that counter drops to one, the board is asking to be rearranged rather than played. No red-or-green feedback marks words as right or wrong. The cost of a poor turn is a spawned letter and a more crowded board.
Modes
Daily Hexaboo is the dated main puzzle, ending when the day's letter supply runs out.
Daily Mini-Boo is a second dated puzzle tracked separately on the front page.
Endless Hexaboo is an anytime run that ends when the board fills up.
Tips for better play
The four-letter minimum means a board full of two- and three-letter fragments calls for a swap. Passing still uses a turn, since a letter spawns each turn whether you spell a word or pass. When the available-words counter drops toward one, start rearranging before the board empties. Swapping is the key skill: with adjacent-only movement, relocating a letter three hexes away takes several turns, so plan the route as well as the word.
