What is Quartiles Word?
Quartiles Word presents a grid of twenty word fragments, each two to four letters long. Your task is to reassemble them into complete words. The grid displays a counter showing the total number of hidden words, so you know exactly how many remain. Each grid includes five designated target words that unlock a thirty-point bonus when all are found. A difficulty label and live points total track your progress.
How to play
Tap one to four fragments in sequence to build a word. The found-words counter shows how many words you have discovered and how many remain in the grid.
Use the toolbar below the grid to shuffle all fragments, shuffle only unused ones, or sort them by position. Tap “Check” to validate your selection. If you need help, press Hint to reveal guidance for the remaining words.
Find the five target words to earn the bonus. Four-fragment combinations score the most points.
Scoring and feedback
The game uses points rather than color codes. Words made from one fragment earn one point, two-fragment words earn two, three-fragment words earn four, and four-fragment words earn ten. Finding all five target words gives a 30-point bonus. The trophy threshold is 100 points. Each accepted word appears in the Found Words panel, and the counter tracks your progress toward the grid’s total.

The scoring curve favors long words heavily. A four-fragment word is worth ten points, more than double a three-fragment word at four points. Prioritize spotting longer combinations before collecting single fragments.
Short words still matter because they count toward the grid total and contribute points. Balance ambition with progress by clearing obvious short words when longer options are not visible.
Sort the grid before searching. Fragments function as prefixes or suffixes, and organizing them reveals which pieces cannot start or end a word. This eliminates impossible combinations and speeds up pattern recognition.
Common questions
You earn one point for one fragment, two points for two, four points for three, and ten points for four. Collecting all five target words adds 30 points.
The trophy marks a score threshold: 100 points per grid.
