What is Rondo?
Daily football (soccer) puzzle with three modes: guess the mystery club from Europe's top 5 leagues with 7 clues per guess, name the legend in a blurred photo that sharpens with each miss, and put 5 moments of football history in order. Free, no account, English and Spanish.
How to play Rondo
- Open the site and choose one of the three modes: Teams, Legends, or Decade. Each mode resets daily at midnight local time and tracks its own streak.
- In Teams mode, type any European top-five-league club name. Every guess reveals seven category results for League, Titles, Color, Squad value, Years in top flight, Kit brand, and Stadium. Green means an exact match, yellow means close, and red means no match. There is no limit on attempts.
- In Legends mode, view a heavily blurred photo of a famous player. You have ten lives. Each incorrect guess sharpens the image. After five misses a birth-year hint appears.
- In Decade mode, drag five real football events (transfers, trophies, debuts, retirements, awards) into order from oldest to newest. You have three attempts. After each try, correctly placed events lock in green, near-correct ones show yellow, and wrong ones show red.
- Complete the day’s challenge in any mode to extend that mode’s streak. The streak ball evolves after 3, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, and 200 consecutive daily wins.
Category clues in Teams mode
The seven categories give structured feedback rather than open-ended hints. League and primary kit color often narrow the field quickly. Squad market value and stadium name usually confirm or eliminate remaining candidates. Titles and years spent in the top division help distinguish clubs of similar profile. A yellow result on value or color indicates proximity and can guide the next guess more efficiently than starting from scratch.
Tips for consistent daily play
Start Teams mode with a well-known club from a clear league if you are unsure; the first set of color-coded results supplies useful information even when the guess is wrong. In Legends mode, use the progressive sharpening and the mid-game birth-year clue before spending all ten lives. In Decade mode, lock any events you are certain about first so later attempts only rearrange the uncertain ones.
