What is SHFL?
SHFL is PZLR's daily anagram sprint. You spell ten scrambled words as quickly as possible, choosing four-, five- or six-letter words before the round begins. The timer starts when you begin and stops only after all ten words are solved.
How to play SHFL
- Choose the four-, five- or six-letter daily mode.
- Select Begin to start the timer.
- Connect, click, tap, drag or type the scrambled letters to spell a word.
- Solve all ten words to stop the timer, then open Review to see the completed list.
Why play SHFL?
SHFL is a fast, transparent anagram challenge. Its persistent timer and immediate next-word feedback make it well suited to players who want a daily vocabulary speed test rather than a single-word puzzle.
Reading the feedback
SHFL gives feedback after each answer. A correct spelling moves to the next word; an incorrect one leaves the same word on screen for another attempt. The timer runs until all ten words are solved. After the game, Review shows the completed word list.

Tips for faster solving
Choose a word length that suits your speed with anagrams before starting the timer.
Look for common prefixes, suffixes, and vowel-consonant patterns instead of testing letter orders at random.
Use hints sparingly. They can reveal letters, but the main measure is how quickly you finish all ten words.
