What is Word Bunny?

Word Bunny is a drag-and-drop word transformation game. You modify the current word by dragging letters from an on-screen keyboard or from the word itself, and each change must form a valid word. The core constraint is that no word can be used twice, and you must reach the target word in as few moves as possible. A thread at the top shows the full path with the current target in bold, the par appears in the top left, and a move counter tracks your progress on the right.

How to play Word Bunny

  1. Read the word thread at the top of the screen. The bold word is your current target.
  2. Drag a letter from the keyboard or the displayed word to change it.
  3. The result must be a real word, or your move will not count.
  4. Do not reuse a word you have already written in the puzzle.
  5. Keep changing the word until you reach the target, then move to the next bold word.
  6. Compare your move count with the par at the top left.

The ban on reusing words turns a simple letter ladder into a routing puzzle. Moving back and forth between two forms to explore options permanently closes those forms for the rest of the puzzle. When the thread requires several targets in sequence, early mistakes can block later steps. Plan ahead by checking which words the upcoming targets will need, rather than solving each target in isolation.

Tips for fewer moves

The thread at the top previews the full route. Choose transformations that prepare the next target, not just the current one. If you see two possible paths to a target, pick the one that leaves better options for the next bold word.

The par is a benchmark, not a move limit. You can exceed par and still complete the puzzle, but staying near par usually means you found the intended path.

Use the UNDO button or the trash icon to revert a move or restart the puzzle if you close off a necessary word too early.

Reading the interface

Word Bunny does not use color coding or letter hints. The current word appears large in the center and is repeated above the keyboard. The move counter is to the right of the date, the par is in the top-left corner, and the thread shows the remaining path. Below the keyboard are an UNDO button and a trash bin for corrections.
