What is Word Plaza?

Word Plaza is a free collection of daily word games. It currently features two short puzzles: One Letter and Hidden Word. Both refresh every day with the same challenge for every player, and results can appear on public leaderboards.

How to play One Letter

  1. Read the clue shown above the current word.
  2. Tap the single letter you want to change.
  3. Select a new letter from the keyboard so the result forms a valid English word that matches the clue.
  4. Repeat the process for all five words.
  5. Finish the set as quickly as possible; incorrect answers add three seconds and revealing a word adds ten seconds.

How to play Hidden Word

  1. Select one of the five letter cards in your hand.
  2. Choose a letter inside one of the five displayed words and swap them.
  3. Confirm that the new word is accepted by the puzzle; the removed letter replaces the card you used.
  4. Use each card exactly once so that every row becomes a valid new word.
  5. Arrange the five letters now in your hand into the secret word. You may check up to three times to see how close the hand is without seeing the answer.

Tips for both games

One Letter rewards careful reading of the clue before any letter is tested. Only one letter changes; length and order stay the same. The changed letter can sit anywhere in the word.

Hidden Word benefits from starting with the most constrained of the five words. Colours link each placed card to the letter that returned to the hand. A swap that produces a real word can still be wrong if the returned letter makes the final secret word impossible. Checks are limited, so arrange a plausible five-letter candidate before using one.

Practice rounds are available after the daily attempt and do not affect the ranked score. Earlier puzzles from the current season remain accessible in the archive, while only today’s result advances a live streak.

Further details

The same daily puzzles appear for every player, allowing direct comparison on the leaderboards. One Letter ranks by finishing time; Hidden Word ranks first by number of checks used and then by time. An Android app called Words Smash carries the same games for play away from the browser. Additional word games are planned for future release.
