What is Word Spill?
Word Spill presents letters in a grid. You connect at least three adjacent tiles in any direction by tapping or swiping. When you form a valid word, those tiles disappear and the remaining letters shift down, creating new adjacencies for the next word. The game features a daily puzzle with the goal of clearing the board. Each tile displays a small number in its corner, though the in-game help panel does not explain this feature.
How to play Word Spill
- Finish the training round to see which word to spell and where to begin.
- Tap or swipe across touching letters to form a word of at least three letters.
- As you select tiles, the word appears in the bar above the grid, and the tiles turn green.
- Submit the word. Those tiles leave the board, while the remaining letters shift and form new adjacencies.
- When you are ready to leave the training, tap either Spell for me or Skip practice.
The challenge is sequencing, not vocabulary
Finding a word is only half the task. The order in which you play words determines how the board reshapes after each move. A long word played too early can block three easier words that would have cleared more tiles. The mechanic borrows the cascading tension of falling-tile games and applies it to word formation.
