What is Dbdle?
Dbdle is a daily Dead by Daylight guessing game. You type a killer's name and the board returns how that killer compares to the answer across seven properties: gender, height category, terror radius, movement speed, range type, origin and release year. The answer resets every 24 hours at midnight UTC+2, with a live countdown and a counter showing how many players have already solved it. Classic mode is one of five daily puzzles on the site.
How to play Dbdle
- Enter a killer’s name in the input box. The board compares that killer’s properties with those of the hidden answer, using color coding.
- Use the colors and the arrows beside numeric properties to see which direction to move.
- Choose another killer to test any properties that remain unclear.
- Keep going until every property turns green, confirming the match.
Reading the feedback
The board uses three colors and directional arrows. Green marks an exact match, orange a partial match, and red no match. Arrows next to terror radius, movement speed, and release year show whether the answer’s value is higher or lower than your guess. Orange has a specific meaning for range type: your guess overlaps with the answer but does not cover it completely. For example, a melee-only killer partially matches one with both melee and ranged attacks.
Dbdle has five daily modes, which contribute to the streak system.
- Classic – Enter a killer and compare its properties with the answer.
- Emoji – A variant format listed in the streak panel.
- Survivor Perk – The only daily mode about survivor perks rather than killers.
- Killer Perk – A daily mode about killer perks.
- Terror Radius – A daily mode based on a property that Classic also grades.
To earn a streak point, win all five modes on the same day, with no more than seven guesses in each. Missing a day resets the streak.
Tips for solving efficiently
Start with a guess that sits at an extreme for the numeric properties. Terror radius, movement speed, and release year all return arrows, so one guess gives you three data points. Origin means the killer’s original realm or universe, with examples such as None, American, Chilean, and Russian.
Do not dismiss orange as a near miss. For range type, orange limits the field to killers that share part of your guess’s profile. It can eliminate more candidates than a green gender match.
If you are chasing the streak, plan around all five modes from the start. You need to win every mode within seven guesses, and missing a day resets your progress.
