What is Dribble?
Dribble is an NBA teammate-linking game. Each round gives you two players and asks you to connect them through a chain of shared teammates, using at most six links. Each name you propose must have played on the same team as the previous link. The round ends when you name a player who has been a teammate of both the previous link and the target player.
How to play Dribble
- Open dribblegame.com/play to see the two players you need to connect, separated by empty chain slots.
- Type the name of a player who has been a teammate of the starting player.
- Submit your entry. If the teammate link is valid, the name appears in the chain and your remaining guesses decrease by one.
- Continue naming teammates of the last validated player in the chain.
- Win by proposing a player who has played with both the previous link and the target player.
Reading the feedback
The chain displays vertically from the starting player to the target player. Valid links remain in plain text. Rejected proposals appear grayed out and struck through. The winning link is highlighted in green. The number of remaining guesses is shown under the pair. Each submission, whether valid or rejected, consumes one guess.

Strategy tips
Think by eras before thinking by talent. Two stars from different career windows are connected only by veterans who bridged both generations. The best links are journeymen who have played for five or six franchises, covering far more locker rooms than one-club stars.
Verify the teammate connection mentally before submitting. An error costs a guess just like a valid link. Type the full name and check that the game suggests it before committing.
Common questions
How many links to connect the two players?
Six at most. The guesses-remaining counter is displayed under the pair, and the stats panel shows win distribution from one to six links.
Does a rejected proposal cost a guess?
Yes. The help panel example numbers rejected attempts the same way as valid ones.
Do you need an account to keep your streak?
No. Games played, win percentage, current streak, and best streak are stored in your browser without requiring an account.
