What is Fakerz Dozen?
Fakerz Dozen is a daily trivia game that flips the usual quiz format: twelve answers are real, one is fake, and you must pick the authentic ones without selecting the impostor. Each puzzle is introduced with a detailed instruction screen that names the day's category, credits the author, and explains the exact source, organization, and time period for that round's data. Score accumulates monthly rather than daily, and a limited multiplier system lets you double your points on rounds where you feel confident.
How to play Fakerz Dozen
The home screen shows your current monthly score and the monthly leaderboard. Before each round, the instruction screen gives the category, the author’s byline, and a paragraph explaining the source list and years covered.
The ×2 multiplier is off by default. You can turn it on to double the round’s base score, using one charge from the limited monthly reserve shown on the instruction screen. Press START, then select the twelve correct answers while avoiding the one Faker hidden among them.
Twelve truths and one plausible fake
Fakerz Dozen uses a reversed multiple-choice structure. You identify the majority of authentic items and exclude a single carefully crafted fake. The impostor is designed to fit the category rather than look absurd, so the challenge is recognizing what belongs to the documented list instead of accepting whatever sounds plausible.
The instruction screen sets the boundaries for each round. It states the exact source, the years covered, and the organization that compiled the data. Anything outside those limits is false, even if it seems correct. Treat the paragraph as the round’s rulebook.
Monthly scoring and the multiplier decision
Scores are counted monthly. The home screen shows your cumulative total and the current month’s leaderboard. The ×2 multiplier doubles the base points for one round and uses part of a fixed monthly reserve. Since the reserve is small, save it for a day when you have strong knowledge of the category.
A poor result in one round will not ruin the month. The monthly scoring period gives you time to recover.
Tips for a more careful selection
Use the instruction paragraph to set boundaries. If the round covers a specific list from a named organization over stated years, anything outside that scope is the Faker, regardless of how familiar it seems. Clarify the perimeter before relying on general knowledge.
Save your multipliers for categories where you can confidently identify all twelve authentic answers. The reserve refills monthly, so there is no penalty for holding them until a strong match appears.
