Kezaco? is a daily mystery-guessing game that reveals its answer through up to five cryptic clues. Each puzzle hides a person, place, event, or concept behind locked cards. You type full-word answers into a text field and unlock clues one by one, with no multiple-choice list to guide you. The site tracks scores in points rather than win-or-lose outcomes and organizes play into seasons.
How to play Kezaco?
- Open PLAY TODAY'S PUZZLE from the homepage, or choose PLAY TODAY'S SPOTLIGHT for the current themed series.
- Read the first clue displayed on the active card. The other four remain locked with padlock icons, and the progress bar shows CLUE 1/5.
- Type your answer in full words into the bottom text field and tap SUBMIT.
- Check the PREVIOUS GUESSES table to track your attempts. All five answer lines remain visible throughout the round.
- Unlock additional clues if needed by continuing to submit guesses, or solve the mystery using fewer clues for a higher score.
Understanding the clue structure
Kezaco? presents enigmatic sentences rather than factual statements. A clue might describe an abstract quality, a vague association, or a metaphorical link instead of a verifiable detail like a birth year or location. This deliberate ambiguity creates the game's tension: you can guess early on limited information or unlock more cards for clarity at the cost of points.
The mystery subject can be anything named in language—a historical figure, a city, a cultural event, or an everyday object. Do not assume the answer will be a celebrity name or a place. Read each clue for what it describes, not what you expect the category to be.
Modes and seasonal structure
Puzzle du jour: One daily mystery with five clues and five answer lines. This is the main entry point from the homepage.
Spotlight: A parallel themed series that runs for multiple days, marked LIVE NOW on the homepage and numbered within a twenty-day cycle. Themes include subjects like Premier League clubs. If the theme suits your knowledge, it offers a second daily puzzle within a familiar domain.
The site displays Season 0, labeled "The Pilot," and announces Season 1 starting September 1. A blog link on the homepage explains how the leaderboard resets between seasons.
Tracking progress and feedback
The board shows the CLUE x/5 progress bar, four locked cards, one active clue, and five answer lines that fill as you submit guesses. The outcome is scored in points, displayed in the LATEST banner on the homepage, rather than marked as correct or incorrect. Different players receive different point values for the same puzzle depending on how many clues they unlocked before solving.
The PREVIOUS GUESSES table shows all five lines from the start, empty, so you always know how many attempts remain without counting backward.
Tips for a sharper guess
Pace your attempts. The five empty lines are visible from the beginning, reminding you that each guess is a limited resource. If the first clue feels too vague, unlocking the second may confirm or rule out an early hunch.
The Spotlight runs on a single theme for several consecutive days. If the theme matches your interests, you already know what tomorrow's puzzle will be about, which helps you build context across the series.
Account creation is optional. You can play the daily puzzle directly from the homepage without signing in. SIGN IN and REGISTER are used only for the leaderboard and friend leagues featured on the site.
