What is MCdle?
MCdle is a daily Minecraft guessing game with four modes: Mobs, Blocks, Items, and Crafting Bee, a recipe puzzle. Guesses are unlimited by default, so you narrow down the answer through elimination instead of working within a fixed number of attempts.
How to play MCdle
Choose a mode from the home page. Each has its own daily answer. Submit guesses for the day’s mob, block, or item, then use the feedback after each guess to rule out possibilities. You can keep guessing until you find the answer or reveal it. Enabling limited attempts changes the default unlimited-guess setting.
Modes
Mobs: Guess the Minecraft mob of the day.
Blocks: Guess the Minecraft block of the day.
Items: Guess the Minecraft item of the day.
Crafting Bee: Solve a recipe puzzle using hex tiles and a crafting grid. Optional settings add hints, silhouettes, a timer, and auto-craft. The grid also supports keyboard input.
The absence of an attempt cap defines MCdle's design. Casual players can brute-force answers with a wiki open in another tab, while experienced players face three separate boards per day plus Crafting Bee. If you prefer a stricter challenge, enable the limited-attempts option in settings.
Tips for efficient guessing
Use the clue-by-clue feedback to eliminate possibilities rather than relying on intuition alone. Each guess reveals specific attributes that match or differ from the hidden object.
Enable the colourblind setting in options if you cannot rely on colour cues from the feedback.
For Crafting Bee, use the keyboard-driven grid for faster input. Consider turning on hints, silhouettes, timer, or auto-craft to adjust difficulty and pacing.
Treat each gamemode as a separate puzzle. Completing one does not affect the others, and you can play them independently throughout the day.
