What is Pokedle?
Pokedle hides one Pokemon each day and asks you to name it. Each guess is compared to the secret Pokemon attribute by attribute—its two type slots, generation, and other properties—with feedback shown through colours and arrows rather than words.
How to play Pokedle
- Choose Classic Daily for the shared puzzle or Unlimited for practice.
- Enter a Pokemon name to begin the round.
- Read the colours and arrows in the feedback row.
- Use that information to pick a Pokemon that tests the attributes still unknown.
- Continue guessing until you identify the hidden Pokemon.
Reading the feedback
Green means the attribute matches exactly. Red means it does not match. Yellow appears only on types and means the answer has that type in the other slot. Ordered values show a triangle: it points up when the answer's value is higher than your guess and down when it is lower.
Modes
Classic Daily – One Pokemon per calendar day, the same for everyone.
Unlimited – The same round on demand, as often as you want.
Tips for a stronger start
Use your first guess to gather information rather than aiming for an immediate correct answer. A dual-type Pokemon tests both type slots at once, and yellow feedback only appears on types.
Treat triangles as brackets. An arrow tells you which side of your guess the answer sits on, narrowing the pool faster than a flat red.
Who should play Pokedle
Pokedle tests your recall of attributes such as typing and generation, without letter patterns to help. It is aimed at players who can already identify creatures by sight. There are no accounts, streaks, or archives, so a missed day is gone. Unlimited is the only practice mode.
