What is Pundaze?
Pundaze is a daily visual-pun puzzle. Each puzzle presents an image that represents a short multi-word pun. Blank boxes show the exact word count and letter count for the answer, which uses U.S. English spelling. Players type letters into the boxes and have three guesses to solve the daily puzzle. A Hint feature reveals individual letters when needed.
How to play Pundaze
- Click Start Game to open the daily puzzle and view the image.
- Type letters into the blank input boxes, matching the displayed word breaks and letter counts.
- Click Submit to check your answer, or click Hint and then tap an input box to reveal that letter.
- Review the feedback. Correct answers turn the boxes green. A counter shows remaining guesses.
- Solve the puzzle within three attempts or use hints strategically to complete it.
Interpret the image literally
The pun answer reflects exactly what appears in the image, not a variation or related concept. The official example distinguishes PUMPKIN PI from PUMPKIN PIE, showing that the visual detail matters. Read the picture for its literal elements rather than reaching for a broader interpretation.
Use the blank boxes to confirm word structure before submitting. The letter counts and word breaks are fixed, so a phrase that does not fit the pattern cannot be correct.
Tips for solving efficiently
Use the Hint feature to reveal a letter in a chosen box, but remember it does not restore a guess. You have three guesses total, so revealing a letter helps narrow possibilities without spending an attempt.
