What is Sound?
Sound is a pitch-memory game. It plays a sequence of tones, and you recreate each tone by ear. The standard format uses five tones, and your accuracy earns a score out of 50. You can play solo, compete in a multiplayer match, or take part in a daily challenge that allows one attempt. Difficulty and the number of rounds can be configured.
How to play Sound
Turn on your device’s sound and ringer, then put on headphones as instructed. Listen to the sequence of five tones and recreate each one through the on-screen interface. Submit your attempts to see your score displayed out of 50. You can then play solo, start a multiplayer match by sharing a link, or try the daily challenge.
The core solo mode plays five tones and scores your reproduction out of 50 points. Multiplayer allows you to create and share a game link so friends play the same five tones; the closest match wins. A live-host option shows results in real time with a shared timer. The daily challenge uses identical tones for all players on a given day and allows only one attempt. If you try again, the site blocks you with a message to come back tomorrow.
Reading your score
Sound returns immediate numeric feedback formatted as a score out of 50. Examples on the page show results like "0.00 / 50." In daily mode the interface explicitly states "You get one shot" and will reject second attempts with "That was your second try. Come back tomorrow." Multiplayer and live sessions display all players' results and determine the winner by closest pitch match.
Tips for better accuracy
Use headphones and confirm your device sound is on before starting. The site places this instruction at the top for a reason—ambient noise and speaker quality affect what you hear. Select your preferred difficulty (Easy or Hard) and number of rounds (1, 3, 5, or custom) before beginning so the session matches your goal. For the daily challenge, remember you have only one attempt per day; the game will not let you retry until the next daily reset.
