What is Spotiguess?
Spotiguess connects to Spotify and creates music quizzes from your listening history. You can import any Spotify playlist, quiz yourself on one artist’s discography, use your saved tracks in Liked Songs mode, or ask its AI to generate a quiz from a text prompt.
The service says it has access to more than 100 million songs. It also reports 50,000-plus players and over 100,000 quizzes created, with apps for iOS and Android as well as a web version.
- Connect a Spotify account. The quizzes are built from its library, so this step is required.
- Pick a mode: import a playlist, choose an artist, use your liked songs, or describe the quiz you want and let it generate one.
- Play the clips and name the tracks, alone or with friends in the same room.
- Regenerate with a different source when the round is over. There is no daily limit.
Why it inverts the usual music game
Every other music game picks the songs and tests whether you know them. Spotiguess takes the songs you already love and asks how fast you actually recognise them, which is harder than it sounds and makes a better party game. The playlist import is the feature that matters: any Spotify link becomes a round, so a group can quiz on the music that group actually listens to rather than on a stranger's idea of a canon.
Modes

Tips for a better challenge
Quiz someone else's playlist, not your own. Your liked songs are trivially easy and the game only gets interesting when the library is unfamiliar.
Artist Mode is the honest test of a favourite. Most people know an artist's singles and almost none of the album tracks.
For a group, agree the source before playing. A quiz drawn from one person's library is a quiz that person wins.
Common questions
Is it a daily game?
No. Spotiguess generates quizzes on demand from a source you choose, so there is no single shared puzzle per day.
Do I need a Spotify account?
Yes. The quizzes are built from Spotify libraries (playlists, artists or your saved tracks), so connecting an account is required to play.
Is it free?
Partly. A free tier exists with limited access, and paid plans are offered beside it.
Can I play with friends?
Yes. The site is built around group play, and native iOS and Android apps sit alongside the web version.
