What is Swiftle?
Swiftle is a clip-guessing game built entirely around Taylor Swift's music. You hear a short audio clip and type the song title into a search field. The interface shows a dark starry background with a large central play button and a top bar containing help, mode selector, statistics, and settings icons. An announcement window appears on launch, covering the play area until closed. The game is a solo passion project by @sparshxtechyon and includes Daily and Rapid modes, with sign-in and cloud sync planned for future releases.
How to play Swiftle
Tap the red X in the announcement panel’s top-right corner to close it. Press the large play button in the center to start the audio clip. Enter your guess in the search field and press Enter, or press Skip to move on. You have six attempts to identify the song. After each game, check your statistics to see your wins, streaks, and guess distribution.
Modes and settings
Daily is the default mode, updated each day with a new clip. Rapid offers continuous play and is accessible through the controller icon in the top bar. A hard mode toggle exists in local storage but remains disabled by default. The settings panel includes dark theme and colorblind mode options. All progress, statistics, and preferences are currently stored in the browser only.
The pool covers recent releases
The game draws from Taylor Swift's full discography, including recent additions. An announcement confirmed that tracks from The Life of a Showgirl were added to both Daily and Rapid modes. This means the latest repertoire is in play, not just established albums. If you hear an unfamiliar clip, it may come from a newer release.
Tips for better guesses
Listen to the full clip before typing. Because you have only six tries, spending a few seconds identifying production details or vocal patterns can narrow down the era or album. If you are uncertain, use early guesses to test broad categories rather than random titles.
The announcement window blocks the play button until dismissed. Close it before attempting to start the clip. Settings such as colorblind mode and theme are in the gear icon at the top right, separate from the play area.
Check the statistics panel to review your result distribution across all six guess slots. A pattern of late guesses suggests you may benefit from recognizing instrumental or opening sections rather than waiting for lyrics.
