Who Are Ya? is a daily football quiz where you identify a mystery player from the Premier League, LaLiga, Serie A or Ligue 1. You have eight guesses and can reveal a blurred photo before starting. Each guess returns feedback across multiple categories to help narrow down the identity.
How to play Who Are Ya?

- Type and submit a footballer's name as your guess.
- Read the category feedback (nationality, league, team, position, age, shirt number) after each guess.
- Use the feedback to refine your next guess and eliminate incorrect options.
- Continue until you identify the player or exhaust all eight guesses.
Reading the feedback
Each guess returns feedback across six categories: nationality, league, team, position, age and shirt number. A match confirms that attribute, while a mismatch rules it out. Age and shirt number show directional hints (younger/older, higher/lower) to guide your next guess. Use these clues to systematically narrow the pool of possible players.
Tips for solving the puzzle
Use the blurred photo early if you recognize visual clues like build, skin tone or hairstyle. These details can point toward a nationality or specific player before you spend guesses.
Prioritize feedback that eliminates large groups. A confirmed league or team narrows the field faster than a shirt number hint. If position matches but team does not, focus on players who moved recently or share that role across the league.
