Wordlecup Soccer Wordle is a daily puzzle in which you identify a mystery footballer. You have six guesses. Each guess gives you eight clues in a table: league, club, nation, position, age, height, shirt number, and preferred foot. The site also has basketball and American football grids, available through the ⚽ ? ? tabs above the table.

How to play Wordlecup Soccer Wordle

  1. Make sure the Soccer tab is active in the MATCH CONTROL banner.
  2. Enter a footballer’s name in the guess field. Use the A–Z row beneath the grid to filter the list if needed.
  3. Check the returned row from left to right, across all eight columns.
  4. In numeric columns, the ↑↓ arrows show whether the target value is higher or lower than your guess.
  5. Keep exact matches and rule out players that conflict with the clues.
  6. You have six guesses, so narrow down one constraint at a time.
  7. Come back each day for a new grid. Sign in to keep your streak across devices.

Reading the feedback tiers

Each column follows a three-tier system, though the middle tier means something different depending on the field. LEAGUE uses the same country as the championship, CLUB the same championship, NATION the same continent, and POSITION the same group (ATK, MID, DEF, or GK). Numeric columns allow a margin of error: ±2 years for age, ±3 cm for height, and ±5 for shirt number. An arrow appears when a value falls outside its tolerance. FOOT works differently: a two-footed player partially matches both right- and left-foot guesses.

Strategy for efficient solving

Start with POSITION because an intermediate result narrows your search to one-quarter of the pitch. Read CLUB and LEAGUE together: they test two levels of proximity in a single guess. Numeric tolerances are not equal: shirt number is the loosest, spanning ten units, while age covers only four years. Use the alphabetical filter to avoid spelling errors once the clues point to a specific name. Check the FOOT column late in the game to break ties between similar profiles.
