What is Amountle?
Amountle is a daily estimation game that drops objects into a transparent jar and asks you to count them before time runs out. Watch cubes, spheres, or other shapes fall behind glass, rotate the container to check hidden layers, then dial in your guess and submit. Five rounds make up each daily puzzle, and your cumulative accuracy lands you on a leaderboard.
How to play Amountle
- Tap PLAY TODAY'S PUZZLE to launch the daily challenge and watch the objects drop while the counter reads COUNTING.
- Drag the jar to rotate it and reveal what the front view hides.
- Use the minus and plus buttons or type a number directly to set your estimate.
- Press SUBMIT or hit Enter before the countdown expires.
- Move through all five rounds, tracked by the dots at the top of the screen.
Rotate the jar to see every layer
Objects stack in three dimensions, so the front face can hide entire rows. The animation is quick and the timer is short, making rotation faster than recounting visible items. If power-saving mode is on, the falling animation may skip frames and leave you guessing at a partial stack, so turn it off before you start.
Modes beyond the daily puzzle
The homepage lists four alternate modes under MORE WAYS TO PLAY. OVER / UNDER asks whether the count is above or below a target. FILL challenges you to add objects until you reach a specific number. SURVIVAL runs until you miss. DUEL A FRIEND sets up a head-to-head comparison. Each mode tests the same estimation skill with a different constraint or win condition.
Tips for a tighter estimate
Use the keyboard shortcut. The minus and plus buttons adjust your number, but Enter submits immediately, saving the final seconds when the countdown narrows.
Check all sides before committing. A layer tucked behind the jar's back wall can add ten or twenty items that the starting angle does not show.
Keep the same browser. Progress, streaks, and your assigned username are stored locally, so switching devices or clearing data resets your history.

Do you need to create an account?
No. The game assigns a username on first play, such as Marble Crab, and only offers account creation or login at the bottom of the homepage.
