What is D3C1PH3R?
D3C1PH3R is a daily number code-breaking game that asks you to guess a hidden digit sequence within eight attempts and a running timer. Unlike most dailies that stay at one difficulty, this one follows a weekly progression: the code starts simple on Monday, becomes brutal by Sunday, then resets. A colored difficulty badge on the board shows where you are on that ramp.
How to play D3C1PH3R
- Press Start Game on the landing page to reach the board.
- Fill the digit slots—three on the Easy board—and press ENTER. A line under the slots tracks how many digits you have entered.
- Read the feedback from each guess to narrow the sequence, watching the GUESSES counter (out of eight) and the TIME counter in the header.
Reading the feedback
Before your first attempt, the board shows a TIME counter that starts immediately, a GUESSES counter at 0/8, the day’s difficulty badge, and a panel above the digit slots that reads “Enter your first guess.” That panel displays the response after each submission.
Why the weekly ramp matters
D3C1PH3R gives the week an arc. Monday is a warm-up, and the same game turns nasty by the weekend. The question printed on the front page—whether you can make it to Sunday—becomes a real challenge.
Modes
The weekly run: One code per day, with difficulty climbing across the week and resetting every Monday. The board carries a colored difficulty badge.
Squads: A signed-in feature for joining a squad and competing with other players. The board opens and runs without an account.
Tips for a cleaner solve
The clock starts before your first guess, so check the digit count and difficulty badge before the timer is running.
You do not need to sign in. Sign In sits in the header, and squads are pitched next to it, but the board opens straight from the Start Game button.
Difficulty belongs to the day. If a code feels vicious, that is the week doing its job. Monday puts it back at the bottom of the ramp.
