What is Electle?
Electle presents the seating diagram of a national parliament's lower house and asks you to identify both the country and the election year that produced it. You answer by selecting a country on a zoomable map and entering the year.
How to play Electle
- Examine the seating diagram displayed on screen.
- Click the map to select your country, using the +, - and reset buttons to zoom and navigate as needed.
- Confirm your selection appears next to "Selected."
- Type the election year in the input field.
- Press GUESS to submit your answer.
- Review the feedback and continue guessing until you match both country and year correctly.
Who this game is for
Electle targets players who read election results for pleasure. The seating diagram is the only clue, so you either recognize the chamber's composition or you do not. It is a poor fit if you want daily streak tracking or detailed statistics. Once you solve the daily puzzle, only a countdown to the next one remains. Endless mode is where the game actually delivers continuous play.
Reading the feedback
The game counts guesses rather than scoring them. When you match both the country and the election year, a victory panel names the result, reports how many attempts you made, and starts a countdown to the next daily puzzle.
Available modes
Electle offers three modes on the home screen:
- Daily: One parliament per day with a countdown to the next puzzle.
- Endless: Continuous play with new parliaments appearing immediately after you solve each one.
- Easy: A simplified version offered alongside Daily and Endless.
Tips for accurate guessing
Use the zoom controls to position the map carefully before selecting a country. A misclick can waste an attempt, so confirm the correct name appears next to "Selected" before typing the year.
The year input and GUESS button together register an attempt. Both steps are required.
Guesses are unlimited. If you recognize the chamber's composition you will solve it quickly; if not, systematic elimination may help narrow the region and decade.
If you want uninterrupted play beyond one puzzle per day, choose Endless. Daily mode is designed for a single parliament with a wait until the next one unlocks.
