What is Estimatle?
Estimatle is a daily estimation game that presents five numerical questions. You answer by adjusting a slider rather than typing a number, then lock in your guess to see the correct figure, your score, and how other players estimated.
How to play Estimatle
- Read the question and drag the slider to your best estimate.
- Use the -10, -1, +1, and +10 buttons or arrow keys to fine-tune your position.
- Press LOCK IT IN to reveal the correct answer, your score, the distribution of other players' guesses, and the source for the figure.
- Repeat for all five daily questions.
Scoring and feedback
Each question awards up to 100 points. You lose one point for every step between your estimate and the correct answer. The scoring rewards proximity rather than exact matches. After locking in, you see where your guess landed on the distribution of all other players' attempts.
Tips for stronger estimates
Adjust carefully before locking in. Because you lose a point for each step off the correct answer, small refinements still matter. Use the increment buttons or arrow keys to nudge the slider into position.
Check the units menu before estimating. You can switch between metric and US units at any time to align the slider with your mental reference.
Account and streak
An anonymous account is created on your first play and stores your scores and streak locally on that device. You can sign in with Google to carry progress across devices. The game is free and requires no sign-up for basic play.
