What is Ledger Lock?
Ledger Lock is a daily number puzzle on a six by six grid. Each row and column shows a target sum. You toggle cells on to match every target exactly, but active cells cannot touch orthogonally. A readout below the board counts how many rows and columns currently hit their targets. The puzzle appears in the playtrike hub's daily slot with a date, number, streak counter and timer.
How to play Ledger Lock
- Read the two constraints: match every row and column target exactly, and prevent active cells from touching up, down, left or right.
- Tap any cell to switch it on or off.
- Watch the rows matched and columns matched readout under the grid to track progress toward all twelve targets.
- Press Clear board or the R key to wipe the grid and start over.
Why the adjacency rule matters
Every cell you activate contributes to one row sum and one column sum while blocking its four orthogonal neighbors. The challenge is finding cells that close two lines at once without creating adjacency conflicts. Six by six is small enough to plan mentally, and there is no score beyond the clock, the streak and matching all twelve lines.
Reading the feedback
The only running score is the line count under the board: rows matched and columns matched out of six each. The header displays the puzzle number, date, streak and timer. A line that overshoots its target counts as unmatched, the same as an empty line.
Tips for solving efficiently
Look for cells that settle both their row and column at once rather than cells that loudly close one line. Active cells forbid their four orthogonal neighbors, so trace those knock-on blocks before chasing sums. The R key clears the whole board instantly, making it inexpensive to abandon a dead branch and rebuild from scratch.

Is there a limit on how many cells I can toggle?
No. Cells switch freely, and Clear board or R resets the grid without penalty.
