What is Nurdle?
Nurdle is an archived web puzzle collection that is no longer a live game. It gives you access to old puzzles from Season 1, with Seasons 2 and 3 announced as coming soon. Each season includes extras that were not part of the original live release. All puzzles are browser-based and track progress locally rather than through shared statistics.
How to play Nurdle
- Visit the Nurdle website and select Season 1 from the available options.
- Choose a puzzle from the season list.
- Interact with the puzzle directly in your browser.
- Move through the season at your own pace. Visited puzzles are marked green in your browser history.
No live stats or sharing
Nurdle stores your progress locally in your browser. Once you visit a puzzle, it will be marked green in your history whether or not you complete it. The site does not track statistics, generate leaderboards, or offer sharing buttons. Treat each puzzle as its own reward rather than a performance metric.
Only one format available
The site offers a single mode: browsing and playing archived puzzles through the web interface. There are no alternate gameplay formats, time trials, or difficulty settings listed on the official page.
Tips for browsing the archive
Puzzles are marked as visited the moment you open them, not when you finish. If you want to track your actual completions, you will need to do that yourself outside the site.
Season 1 is fully available now. Seasons 2 and 3 are listed as coming soon, so check back if you want access to additional puzzle sets.
Because there is no shared progress or online sync, keeping the same browser will preserve your local history. Switching devices or clearing browser data will reset the green markers.
