What is Seedle.io?
Seedle.io is a farm-themed arithmetic puzzle game. You receive a hand of tiles showing crops, boosters, and special rules, then arrange them on a rocky grid to maximize your total score. Each tile prints its point value and its scoring rule directly on its face—boosters add to adjacent crops, column-based tiles count matching tiles in their column, and multipliers double neighbors. The board is entirely transparent: you can calculate the final harvest before you commit.
How to play Seedle.io
- Read each tile in your hand at the bottom of the screen. It shows the tile type, base points, scoring rule, and scope (ADJACENT or COLUMN).
- Place the tiles on the grid. Grey rocks block some spaces, so the board is not a clean rectangle.
- Empty your hand completely. The Harvest button shows how many tiles remain, and you must place all of them.
- Tap Harvest to calculate and display your final score.
Your goal is to optimize your score by choosing where to place each tile; there is no single solution.
Seedle.io is a scoring puzzle with no single correct answer. The challenge is combinatorial: how well can you read the interactions in the hand you were dealt and arrange tiles to multiply their effects? There is no hidden information. Every rule is visible before placement, so a strong harvest comes from arithmetic you discovered, not luck.
How tiles interact
Different tile types create different spatial demands:
- Boosters (Sprinkler, Rain) affect adjacent crops. Placing one along an edge or in a corner wastes part of its range. Rain adds 10 to adjacent crops but subtracts 10 from adjacent Cactus, making hands that combine the two a spacing puzzle.
- Column tiles (Bamboo) score for every matching tile in the same vertical column, including themselves. Two Bamboo stacked vertically score more than two placed side by side.
- Multipliers (Chilli) double adjacent crops. A Chilli’s placement matters more than its base value, so put it near your highest-scoring crops instead of in the first open space.
- Simple crops (Corn) contribute only their printed value and have no special rule.
Tips for a higher harvest
Place boosters where they can reach the most crops. A Sprinkler or Rain tile in the center affects up to four crops, while one in a corner affects only two.
Column-based tiles work best when stacked vertically. If you draw several Bamboo tiles, put them in the same column so their scoring rule triggers more often.
Use Multipliers on your best existing score. A Chilli next to a high-scoring crop or boosted tile can double a large value, so find that tile first and place the Chilli beside it.
Rocks constrain your layout. The irregular board means certain high-value arrangements may not be physically possible. Read the rock pattern before committing to a strategy that requires contiguous space.
