What is StatesQuest?
StatesQuest is a daily comparison game that tests your knowledge of U.S. state statistics. Each round displays six state cards showing flags and names. An instruction at the top asks you to identify which state holds the highest value, the lowest value, the exact announced value, or acts as the odd one out for a given metric. No maps or silhouettes appear—answers depend entirely on what you know about population, area, income, or other state characteristics.
How to play StatesQuest
- Select PLAY on the home screen to open the day’s game.
- Read the instruction at the top. It may ask for the highest value, lowest value, exact value, or odd one out.
- Choose one of the six state cards with flags.
- Check the feedback after each round and continue through the daily puzzle.
- In Weekly Survival mode, manage ten lives while answering multiple questions within the time limit for each round.

Recognizing a state's shape or position does not reveal which of six candidates ranks highest or lowest on population density, GDP, or coastline length.
