What is Episodle?
Episodle shows a random frame from a television episode and asks you to name the series. The image is not a poster or a famous scene but an ordinary shot that may be pixelated, cropped, or masked. Each wrong guess reveals another frame from the same episode, turning the six-attempt limit into a progressive investigation rather than a countdown.
How to play Episodle
Study the image for clues such as the lighting, costumes, set design, and visible faces. Enter the series name in the search field and tap Submit. If your guess is wrong, the game unlocks another image from the same episode. After several failed attempts, it may offer hints such as the release year or genre. Identify the series within six attempts, then share the colored emoji grid that replaces the title.
Promotional photos are easy to recognize. Episodle draws frames at random from episodes, so you reconstruct each show’s visual identity from a corridor, a jacket, or the studio lighting. The progressive reveal turns mistakes into clues. The daily series grants three monthly restorations, so you can miss an evening without restarting your streak.
Reading the feedback
Each wrong answer opens the next frame from the same episode. The sequence usually moves from obscure to recognizable. Your final result is a shareable emoji grid that keeps the answer hidden. During play, the board shows six numbered dots, a search field, and a Submit button.

Tips for sharper guesses
Make plausible guesses early. Every wrong answer reveals another frame, so an informed attempt moves you forward faster than waiting on an intentionally unclear image.
The daily streak counts participation. The explanatory window says that the counter resets only after a full calendar day without playing; an unsuccessful puzzle does not break it.
Three restorations recharge each month. Save them for days when you cannot play instead of using one after a single mistake.
Common questions
Does losing reset my streak?
No. The streak records whether you played, regardless of the result. Skipping an entire calendar day resets the counter to zero.
Can I replay missed days?
Yes. The Archive link gives you access to past grids and the series collection used in earlier puzzles.
